Advanced Fine Script Calligraphy Workshop

Conducted by Joanne from The Letter J Supply, in this 3-hours workshop, refine your script and develop your own style. Explore writing with metallic and coloured ink, and learn how calligraphy can be applied on stationery.

Prior experience required. This advanced class is only for participants who have attended the Basic Fine Script Calligraphy Workshop.

Materials and tools provided (all for take-home):
• Basic Pen Holder
• 3 x Pointed Nibs
• 1 x Bottle of Ink
• A variety of different paper stock
• Metallic Ink
• The Letter J Supply "Essence of Modern Calligraphy" notes

About The Instructor:
Joanne Lim is drawn to the power of words. In her practice, Lim uses words as parameters to imagine and express form. Her spontaneous and thoughtful works deviate from conventional calligraphic forms and are imbued with a distinctive sensibility. Originally trained in graphic design and with a background in advertising, she now runs The Letter J Supply, a studio that creates original artworks and runs workshops with a focus on calligraphy. Her work has been exhibited at The Esplanade, Singapore and featured in various publications.

Rescheduling of workshop is only allowed up to 3 days before commencement of the workshop. Please note that rescheduling may only be performed once, and exchange/refund is strictly not allowed at any point. We will not be extending the option of rescheduling to participants who did not inform us of no show prior to the start of session. No-show participants are able to collect their workshop materials from the Atelier.
