Gentle Bones with Bynd Artisan Capsule Collection, 2016
The Gentle Bones with Bynd Artisan Capsule Collection is an anticipated series featuring a line of four items which represents Gentle Bones’ daily necessities - T-shirt, Cap, Key & Card Wallet and Draw String Bag.
Each product is emblazoned with the ingenious motif which Gentle Bones conceptualised while the design feasibility of the series is the collective wisdom of both parties.
Designed in steel grey, the motif by Gentle Bones consists of the capital character “S” and is followed by a solid rectangular block of the same colour.
Born in the 1990s, Gentle Bones belongs to the last decade of young Singaporeans whose NRIC number starts with ‘S’. The conception of this motif reflects a Gen-Y’s appreciation for the usually-undermined system that gives identity to each individual.
Using black as the base colour for the series, Gentle Bones envisages this collection to be minimalistic yet conveying a powerful message in the absence of words. The T-shirt and Cap are made of 100% cotton and 100% polyester respectively while the Key & Card Wallet and Draw String Bag are made of genuine full-grain calf-leather.
