Our Leather
Bynd Artisan uses leather that are sourced from Europe, where they are processed in a quality-certified tannery using state-of-the-art technology. This includes employing process-controlled machines and practising eco-friendly methods such as using EU- and US-regulated chemicals that do not pollute the water.
This results in the preservation of the leather’s natural lustre and suppleness, ensuring our products provide a delightful tactile experience.

Bynd Artisan uses only Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, Acid-free paper from forests that are carefully managed to be environmentally harmonious, socially beneficial and economically viable.
90% of our prints utilise either soy-based or vegetable ink, both derived from renewable resources that eliminate the need for harmful solvents or chemicals in press cleaning processes.

reBynd works with like-minded partners and suppliers from Germany, Italy, Australia and Japan, using bonded leather made of OEKO-TEX Leather Standard-certified genuine-leather fibres with no added cellulose, PU or textile fibres, FSC-certified paper made from 40% post-consumer wastes and 25% recycled leather residues, FSC-certified Kraft paper packaging made from 100% recycled paper, and eco-friendly plastic snap fasteners that does not emit hazardous gas when burned.

Essential Everyday Care
The most basic care of all starts with brushing off any dirt or dust which is bound to accumulate over time. Simply wipe your item with a soft, clean cloth or a brush with soft bristles every other day, or whenever possible.
Moisture and Conditioning
Just like our skin, the natural construct of leather will become dry and crack if not diligently cared for. With a soft, clean cloth or soft sponge, dap on some leather lotion and conditioners, apply a thin layer on the leather and gently go over the surface in a circular motion. Be sure to clean off any excess dirt or dust before you start.
Storage and Safekeep
To prevent leather from further drying out, it is always recommended to store it away from direct sunlight. If possible, store your Bynd Artisan item in a breathable bag such as a non-woven material, and avoid storage in plastic bags which do not offer a well-ventilated environment.
