The Workshop Experience

Create a set of 3 items – Coin Pouch, Card Holder, and Key Holder by repurposing the piece of leather which came with your Shangri-La Singapore with Bynd Artisan Mooncake Box Set.

The eventual curation of these simple yet functional handcrafted accessories are a strong reflection of both brands’ commitment to repurpose and minimise waste, and environmental impact through innovation.

The Highlight

This exclusive 2 to 3-hour workshop teaches fundamental techniques of working with leather (i.e. cutting and sewing). The curated items will be finished with the pre-stamped gold peony motifs.

All materials (except leather) and tools will be provided.

No prior experience is required, however, only ages 16 and above may attend the workshop.

The Leather

The accompanying buttery piece of vegan leather invites you and a friend or family member to partake in an exclusive Bynd Artisan leather crafting workshop as a pair, providing an opportunity to bond with your loved ones, or perhaps forge new friendships with like-minded individuals. Not only will you craft three personalised keepsakes, but the opportunity to craft enduring memories as well.

Alternatively, you may also repurpose the vegan leather piece as a dining placemat, or even as a mouse pad for your work desk.

The Velvet Box

In collaboration with Bynd Artisan, we have embraced the concept of repurposing. The mooncake box, crafted with a luxurious velvet material, is ingeniously designed to transform into a stunning jewellery and trinket box after the festivities. The jewellery tray is removable as well if you prefer to have it stowed in your wardrobe drawer. This eventual curation is a reflection of both brands’ commitment to adopting sustainable practices that minimise waste and environmental impact through innovation.

Booking Information (Terms & Conditions)

• Workshop available for booking until 26 January 2025.
• All workshop sessions will be conducted at Bynd Artisan Raffles City Atelier.
• Sign up is capped at a maximum of 2 participants per leather piece. You may wish to attend as a single participant as well.
• Participant(s) must bring along their own piece of leather which came with their Shangri-La Singapore with Bynd Artisan Mooncake Box Set. No replacement piece will be provided.
• Payment of $68 (after GST) per group of max. 2 participants will be collected at the end of the workshop.
• Kindly email us at commune@byndartisan.com to reserve your slot and we will let know of the available workshop dates and timings via e-mail.
• In case of last-minute rescheduling, kindly drop us an email or call at least 4 hours before start of session. Kindly note that we only accept a one-time rescheduling and exchange/refund is strictly not allowed at any point. We will not be extending the option of rescheduling to participants who did not inform us of no show prior to start of session.
