"Picture Perfect Frame" Collection
Not everything needs to be picture perfect. This is the message behind the latest collection by Bynd Artisan and Singaporean pop-singer/songwriter Priscilla Tan — named “Picture Perfect Frame” after the singer’s newly-released song.
In this timely collection, a quartet of Bynd Artisan products features heartfelt, honest lyrics from the song to address the “picture perfect” culture on social media and encourage more people to eschew sharing only life’s highlights, which can promote unrealistic standards of “the good life”, with possible adverse effects on one’s mental well- being. Instead, the collection asks you to consider another mindset and approach: What if we normalise a healthier culture of sharing our lowlights — our struggles and work-in-progress states? What if we compare less and connect more by doing so?
The “Picture Perfect Frame” Collection consists of the Picture Perfect Black Book, Picture Perfect Frame, Picture Perfect Luggage Tag, Picture Perfect Mirror*. Each product comes with calligraphy by The Letter J Supply of lyrics from Priscilla's new song: “Its not what I pictured but I see the good” “Sometimes we don’t see what we should” “Your tears / Your pain / Your struggles / Are all part of the greater plan”.
*The Picture Perfect Mirror is available exclusively at Bynd Artisan's Ateliers.
